Old school astrophotography

Here’s a picture I took back in 1994, when Mars – the bright dot – was passing through the M44, Beehive or Praesepe. It’s a black and white on Ilford Pro H5 film, and 5 minutes exposure time. 400mm tele on a C8 (piggyback). Date: October 18 (corrected from my original annotations, which said October 15), time around 0:30 CET. Slightly edited and processed, not much.
